Shoes Anxiety Wears

What about these Mary-Janes?
Nope—they squeak on the floor. 

How about my new pennyloafers?

Oh but how my feet will smell!

I could take my new high heels for a spin...

but what if I trip and fall?

And showing my toes in flip-flops?

I can already hear the mocking laughter.

What shoes are in? What will look good? 

Choices and decisions are scary.

I might as well just stay in 

and wear my velvety slippers.
